It offers spectacular views of the sea and coast all the way up to Point Plomer and beyond. The property is only 5 mins by car from Lighthouse and Flynn’s beaches, and less to Shelly Beach with the city centre only 5kms away.

The house is in 2 sections: older part of house is from late 70s but in good condition and an additional wing from mid 90s, connected by a high glass atrium above the castle-style front door.

Newer wing of the house consists of 2 large identical rooms, one above the other:
1) Downstairs set up as very casual inside/outside rumpus and lounging area, furnished with comfortable old (and slightly battered) furniture. A single day bed is here too, for after lunch naps.

2) Upstairs is a very large bedroom with queen size bed, formerly the owners’ writing study, with one wall all tinted privacy glass, looking north up the coast, (no curtains, but no-one can look in anyway!) separated by a short, screened corridor from the main upstairs formal TV and dining room. This bedroom is away from the other bedrooms and their twinned bathroom areas, but it has glorious views up the coast. Be first to bags it!

There is a large living/dining TV room upstairs, with adjoining balconies, big enough for small group yoga sessions. It also has a grand view up the coast.

Kitchen/ family room renovated to a high standard early 2000s. Modern convenient appliances. 2.5 refurbished bathrooms (2019)

The other three bedrooms all with queen size beds are together in the older part of the house and have pleasant garden outlooks (2 with fine coastal views.) Flexible bathroom arrangements; one can be en-suite or shared with others (2 entrances). The other bathroom has a bath.

The main of these bedrooms has a large walk-in robe area, which can double as a nursery area for a travel/folding cot.

Large pool (10m) & poolside entertainment area with old-style open fireplace. Camp BBQ plate for guests’ use. (Weber Baby Q too in back courtyard area.) Bring your own billy for campfire style cuppas !

Refurbished downstairs bathroom/ toilet accessible through garage. It is suitable for those using pool and after-beach showers.

The whole house has a sunny aspect and is very private.
Back area great for small kids to scoot and play and is deliberately left without furniture so they can do so.
Outdoor table and 8 chairs down by the pool and fireplace
Double garage suitable for one car and bike/ watercraft storage
Pool will get one service a week but leaf-scoop net and brush available for leaf cleanup after windy days
Lawns will be mowed. FREE WIFI.
