This year, from December 1st to 18th, we are proud to launch our 2025 Christmas Appeal in partnership with We Care Connect, a local charity creating real impact for vulnerable children across the Central Coast and Hunter region. About We Care Connect We Care Connect is a volunteer-driven charity dedicated to supporting disadvantaged children aged 0–18. Their mission is simple yet powerful: to give every child the essentials they need to feel safe and supported. With a network of over 150 local agencies referring families in crisis, We Care Connect provides clothing, toys, nappies, prams, car seats, and other vital items to ensure vulnerable children don’t go without. Their work helps ease the burden on parents doing it tough, while restoring dignity and hope to families facing hardship. What the Christmas Appeal Means Christmas can be a joyful season, but for families struggling financially, it can also be overwhelming. Many parents simply cannot stretch their budgets to include gifts. That’s where our community can step in. Our Christmas Appeal focuses on collecting small but meaningful gifts to brighten a child’s Christmas. These items may be simple, but they carry an enormous emotional weight. We are collecting: • Books • Arts and craft kits • Puzzles and games • Footballs and frisbees • Educational goodies • Towels and hats • Stocking fillers Every donated gift will be carefully matched by We Care Connect to a local child who would otherwise go without. How to Donate From December 1st to 18th, you can drop off gifts at any of the following Wiseberry offices: • Wiseberry Berowra • Wiseberry Wyoming • Wiseberry Killarney Vale Once collected, gifts will be delivered directly to We Care Connect, where they will be sorted and distributed to families in need across the region.
